Beach hut invoices will be issued shortly. The Council has advised that outstanding fees will now be actively followed up and licences may not be renewed where payments remain unpaid.
The Direct Debit Mandate (DDM) option will again be available, allowing fees to be routinely spread over ten monthly payments or if specifically requested, twelve instalments, rather than one lump sum.
If you have outstanding 2025/26 fees and wish to retain your licence, please contact the Council as soon as possible: hbcbeachhuts@havant.gov.uk
Hayling Island Beach Hut Association Committee Update
HIBHA is not a new organisation and is not being led by a new committee. The Association continues to be run by the same core group of committee members that have represented hutters over the past year, now with two fewer members following recent resignations. We warmly encourage members to attend our AGM, where you can hear updates, ask questions, and help shape the future direction of HIBHA. We are committed to being open, democratic, and member-focused.
Over the last month, the committee has been strengthening how HIBHA operates, including:
· launching a brand new website to improve communication and transparency
· introducing new GDPR policies
· creating a new constitution to support clear and democratic processes
